Itinerary description
It is about four hour hike to Lakuri Bhanjyang from its foot hill at Lamatar. The starting point is close to the Dhungin Bus Station and it ends at the Bus station. From the starting point it goes through the forest with a well marked and used trails. The trail meets with the motor road around mid point and again goes through the forest to the Lakuri Bhanjyang. From Lakuri Bhanjyang, the hike takes dirt motor road. Hikers can stop at the Deurali Resort for lunch or snacks. From the Resort, there is small trail through the forest almost all the way down to rather Dhungin bus station. During winter season, the dirt roads are very dusty and it is impossible to hike on the road. The trails avoid the dust and provide shades from the sunlight.
