Itinerary description
This trailhead is near the Kirkwood Ski Resort on Highway 88 in the Sierra Nevada. It is a short but pretty hike to a small lake surrounded by granite. It is very popular since it has such easy access from the highway. Hikers, horses, dogs, and bicycles are allowed on this trail.
