We left from the public parking of the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel. Bordering the lake at the beginning we reach the first crossroads where the path to the Lake Agnes Tea House is well indicated. Specify why we can follow the edge of the lake to the Tea House of Six Glacier Plateau. Halfway there we arrive at Mirror Lake, where several roads converge.
A last flight of stairs takes us to Lake Agnes and its Tea House. Spectacular view. I advise consulting the opening dates of the Tea House, since both the road and the house itself are closed part of the year.
Climbing a small "zetas" we reach Bee Hive, where we find a viewpoint and spectacular views of the glaciers, and peaks that surround Lake Louise.
We decided to return using the Six Glacier Trail following the meltwater of the glacier that ends in Lake Louise.
In short, simple route, affordable even with children, and a real treat to have a tea made with the same water from the lake, or some cakes with hot chocolate! A scale version and the Canadian version of Rivendell!
