Itinerary description
Hike following the Lake Hauroko lookout track from DOC (Department Of Conservation).
It starts at the parking at the end of the gravel road where the boat ramp is. It goes right and follows the lake for about 1.5 Km and at that point it starts a very steep climb of about another 1.5 Km until we reach the lookout point.
The lake is so beautiful and the views are breathtaking.
