Itinerary description
Lake Būšnieki nature trail offers a pleasant, comfortable and active rest for the whole family on the coast of the Lake. The trail is 8,5km long and stretches around the whole lake. Along the way, there are few resting and picnic areas, a well-equipped swimming site, 10 information stands describing and suggesting some exercises to practise while walking on the trail. At the marshy area of the lake, a wooden boardwalk is constructed with a viewing platform for bird watchers. The trail is accessible for people in wheelchairs and parents with baby strollers.
