Itinerary description
Beautiful trekking along the ridge with amazing views to both sides. In December plenty of Andean flowers accompany your path. We also have seen 6 condors and other raptors gliding soundless above us. The silence during the whole trail was amazing.
Starting at the village of Lagunillas you follow the earth road which soon converts into a visible trail, which crosses the ski area until you are up on the ridge. From there you turn right and follow the ridge to the antennas. Continue from the antennas at the ridge next to the fence until you get to the highest point. From there the trail goes mainly down, only some small hills have to be climbed. The most interesting spot are the rocks at the end of the trail where it is doing the turn.
