Itinerary description

Starting at the car park at the Plataforma de Gredos (I don't know how busy it gets in summer but there were a lot of car parking spaces - maybe 100, even), this walk goes to the Laguna Grande. None of the walk is particularly steep, so despite almost 600m ascent it's fairly easy. Still, I graded this as moderate because it is uphill and exposed most of the way, but it certainly is not difficult. The path is really well maintained all the way and it's impossible to get lost. We turned back just before getting to the lake, so if you go all the way it's maybe 1km longer in total. Even so, this is a great walk with some fantastic views and some great local wildlife.
