Laguna Esmeralda is a stunning glacier lake situated in Tierra del Fuego, less than 20 km (12 miles) away from Ushuaia. It is encompassed by the impressive Albino Glacier, as well as the peaks of Las Torres and Cordón Toribio.
The trail to Laguna Esmeralda commences at Valle de Los Lobos, which is located approximately 17 km (10.5 miles) east of Ushuaia along Ruta 3. At the starting point, you'll find a small parking lot and a prominent blue sign. The trail is well-marked with blue signs that serve as a guide towards the lagoon.
