LAGUNA CHURUP
Laguna Churup, Peru. The colectivo for Pitec, the head of the trail, leaves from Av. Gamarra at the north west corner at Antonio Raymondi at around 07:20 and costs S/10 per person, returning at 14:00. The hike involves some scrambling with cables to hold on to but if you are uncomfortable with this then the later, more difficult stages can be avoided by taking a path that splits off to the left of the main trail.
