The Plitvice Lakes are located in the central area of Croatia, being the largest and oldest National Park in the country, receiving Unesco recognition as a nature reserve since 1979.
It is made up of 16 lakes, 12 upper and 4 lower, where what most catches our attention is the emerald green color of its waters and all of them surrounded by a large number of trees, mostly beech, and forming numerous waterfalls of great beauty.
Routes C and H are the most complete, with them we get a general idea of the entire park since we will travel both the upper and lower lakes in a route of about 8.9 km in length (6h). The difference between these two routes is that route C starts at input 1 and is mostly upward, while route H starts at input 2, and most of the time is descending. In these two routes we will also use means of transport such as the bus and the boat (included in the ticket price).
