Itinerary description
Lago Vivo to Monte Petroso via Valle Cupella and return. Difficult trail to follow beyond Valle Cupella - essentially and unmarked game trail. Very steep climb above Valle Cupella through immense boulders to reach to talus field and unnamed pass between Monte Petroso (to north) and Monte Altare (to South). Beautiful, but difficult climb.
