Itinerary description
Long circular hike (~7 hours) on the ridge facing lake Compotosto. Very nice views of the lake and the hill all the way.
A few points to notice:
- there's one diffucult point about 1/3 way through - a rocky step which should be נbypassed carefully
- finding the path in the forest when coming down from the ridge at the southern part of the trail is challenging, however whichever way you take should bring you down to the road.
- You might encounter strong winds up on the ridge. I've actually walked inside a cloud.
