Itinerary description

We have started the route from the SR39 road, when we have found some parking spot in the road after the restaurant at the top of the Col d'Arpy, in front of a picnic area.

After parking our car, we have started going down the road until we have found a small deviation through a hiking path. Just be careful because when we took the path (August 2020), it wasn't well maintained and in some places it was difficult to follow it.

After arriving to Arpy, we started a well indicated path, which goes into the forest. At the beginning, pretty flat, but later it started to be a little steep.

We just followed the indicated path up to the lake. On the way back, we took the main path that goes to the restaurant. Once arrived to the road, we walked through the road back to the car.

We decided to take a hiking path out if the road, but be careful, since the path was not well maintained and in some parts it wasn't completely clear. An alternative is following the road.
