Itinerary description
First climb the steps of the ladder of Cattaro, almost 1000 meters steep climb. At the top at Krstac there is a restaurant/guesthouse. Then take the long distance path to Velji Zalazi. First part of this is a nice walk, more or less following the altitude contour. Just before the remote village of Velji Zalazi the path is partly overgrown by bushes. Leave the old church at your left hand. In the village look for the signpost and then take the path back to Dobrota and Kotor. Be aware that this path is not an easy one, as at many places it is overgrown by bushes. So only for experienced hikers, however it is well marked by red-white signs. Long trousers could be helpful as some of the bushes have thorns. But the views are beautiful.
