Itinerary description

Impressive and classic five-day trekking from Schilling (Zánskar Valley) to Sumdo, near Hemis. Minimum height at the beginning of 3100m and maximum height of the Gongmaru-La at 5260m. Very progressive slope through the Valley of Markha and its villages. In all the camps you can buy food and drinks, and in the main towns such as Markha, Skyu or Hankar you can spend the night in houses of ladakhis.
