Itinerary description
Hike date: 27/07/2014
First things first - Lac de Trécolpas is wonderful. Quite possibly my favourite alpine lake. So go there. I insist! And don't forget to visit in spring, too (I'll soon upload my spring walk to Wikiloc and put the link here).
This hike is not particularly demanding and the views are quite stunning. We hiked up to the Refuge de la Cougourde and then onwards to the base of the caïres de Cougourde.
If you're lucky, you'll spot some chamois and ibex / bouquetin around here.
