Itinerary description
This fourth and back route takes you up into one of the countryside roads from Jardín. On your way up you will pass a few farms where the dogs will only bark to alert the owners, but will not bite you. After about 3 km you will pass a beautiful little cascade next to a farm. The road is rocky at that point and soon will become a single trail, used by the cows wondering these pastures. Crossing the river is a bit tricky because there is no real path going down to a point where you can easily cross. We took off our shoes and walked trough the refreshingly cold water. Ones on the right track back it is a easy walk down, passing again a few farms. A km before you reach town again there is a small bar on the right side of the road, where Mario serves delicious fresh made fruit shakes from the manny exotic fruits that grow in Colombia. This track was a good warm up for the walk to Cueva de Esplendor!
