Itinerary description
A short (2 mile, 3Km approx) from La Plywood Bar at Morn Rouge Beach up to the ridge behind with great all round views, particularly to the south. Return to a well earned rum punch at the most laid back bar in Grenada. If you're hungry try the fish tacos - excellent!
Rough directions:
From the bar walk back up the road towards Grand Anse. After walking past the Mariposa and at the top of this first hill take the right hand concrete road towards La Luna Resort.
Continue down this level road for about quarter of a mile. At the bend to the right take the very steep concrete road to the left, and after only a few yards continue left again this time climbing a steep rough track up the hill.
When you reach the top of this slope continue to follow the track (now part concrete) round to the right and then up steeply to the top of the ridge. When you reach the ridge go left and find the rough vehicle track heading for the telephone masts in front of you.
Just before you meet the masts turn left down the hill on a concrete track. This descends, turns left, then right with a brief ascent before you descend steeply all the way to the original turn off to La Luna.
Head back to La Plywood Bar for the drinks!

Information
Easy to follow
Scenery
Moderate
Overall easy with some short steep slips. Be careful when descending as there lots of small round pebbles that makes it slippery. Generally very windy at the top.
Magnificent scenery and some good picture taking. Houses are present with some dogs most of which are tided.
