NOTE TECNICHE
Luogo di partenza: parcheggio antistante il sentiero che conduce lungo alle spiagge di Bassa Trinita situate nel versante Ovest dell’Isola di La Maddalena;
Difficoltà: EE (escursionisti esperti);
Tipo di percorso: ad anello;
Ricezione telefonica: Buona su quasi tutto il percorso. Assente in località Abbatoggia.
ACCESSO
TECHNICAL NOTES
Place of departure: parking area in front of the path that leads along the beaches of Bassa Trinita located on the west side of the island of La Maddalena;
Difficulty: EE (expert hikers);
Type of route: ring;
Telephone reception: Good on most of the route. Absent in Abbatoggia.
ACCESS
Once you reach the town of Palau, follow the signs for the commercial port from which it is possible, by ferry, to reach the island of La Maddalena on foot or by car. Then continue towards the panoramic road that leads to Bassa Trinita.
DESCRIPTION
Easy to follow in the first stretch that from the town of Bassa Trinita leads to the peninsula of Abbatoggia. The circular route of Abbatoggia, on the other hand, is of medium difficulty. Much of the route takes place along the west coast of the island and allows you to visit the beaches of Bassa Trinita, the beach of the Dead, the peninsula of Abbatoggia and the beach of Strangolato. A short section of the route takes place outside the paths marked and registered by the Maddalena National Park Authority. It is therefore easy to lose orientation if done without a valid GPS track. There are short sections of easy climbing with exposed passages on granite rock. Sometimes to continue it is necessary to move away from the coast and go around some rocks that block the road. There is no shortage of forays into the shrubs. There are no further technical difficulties.
