Itinerary description
A very pretty walk through a private piece of primary forest. On the map, you see that the surrounding patches fall prey to the chainsaws, to make place for cows....
But you don't see anything of that in this trail. It is very well marked, yet a trail through pristine forest.
The entrance fee is 5.000 Colones each, quite moderate for La Fortuna, Costa Rica.
We got there by Uber, but it hard to get a ride, many drivers won't like to go that far out, for Ubers pay. We hitch hiked back to La Fortuna. There is an occasional bus, but that could take along time.
