Itinerary description
Hiked up to the Chapel of Notre Dame of Calvaire. There are 14 stations of the cross leading up to the Chapel. Candels and matches are available with a 1 Euro donation.
We had planed to hike the "rentier du Nord de la Désirade". However, the sea was rough, and we were told not to do that hike to the beach in rough seas.
Instead, we hiked East along the rough road... to the first wind vane field... then South down to Souffleur via a rough path.
The rough path had rubble and leaves which made it a bit more difficult for good solid footing... so slow moving down... but not difficult.
Take plenty of water as the entire walk is exposed to sun.
