Itinerary description
Great walk, thanks to Swimmie for posting the route because we got very little info from our local tourist office in Chalus.
About 50% is following roads (minor ones with almost no traffic at all) but worth being aware of.
We did it in reverse (clockwise) and found a spot to swim not far from the end so we could bathe and were close to the car when we got out of the water.
If you like chestnuts and they are in season bring a bag because they are everywhere.

Vandaag deze verrassende wandeling gelopen. We liepen met de klok mee, eerst rondom het privé domein de Ballerand. Inderdaad redelijk veel asfalt weggetjes maar heel weinig verkeer. Verder lekker in het groen gelopen.

Enigszins saaie wandeling, grotendeels over goed geasfalteerde wegen waar weinig schaduw is. Advies: niet doen als het zonnig en warm is.
