La Carreta, Coin
This walk starts from the parking area adjacent to La Trocha (shopping Centre), Park inside to keep your car cool.
The walk is semi circular heading into La Carreta campo of Coin.
Some of the route is on minor roads, so take care.
There is no shade on this walk of approximately 8.5km.
Part of the walk picks up the Coin to Villafranco sendero PR-A 329.
This walk is ideal for dogs and bird spotters will see a good variety of birds depending on the season.
You get some lovely views of Sierra de las Nieves, Guadalhorce valley, Sierra de Huma in El Chorro, to name but a few.
La Trocha restaurant is ideal for a drink and tapas afterwards. It is adjacent the petrol station and La Trocha.
