მარშრუტი აკავშირებს ქუთაისს სათაფლიის აღკვეთილთან და სოფელ გუმათთან. მარშრუტი მარტივი კატეგორიისაა, არ მოითხოვს დიდ ფიზიკურ დატვირთვას. თავდაპირველად ის ქუთაისის უბნებში გაივლის და გადავა ძველ სატყეო გზაზე და მიუყვება ამ გზას ტყეში. 4.2 კმ გავლის შემდეგ აღმოვჩნდებით მდელოზე საიდანაც შეგვიძლია სათაფლიისკენ ან სოფელ გუმათისკენ მარშრუტის გაგრძელება.
სათაფლიის აღკვეთილი თავისი ისტორიულ-კულტურული მნიშვნელობის ძეგლებით, თითოეულ სტუმარს, არაჩვეულებრივ სანახაობას ჰპირდება. სათაფლია, დაწყებული პრეისტორიული ხანის (120 მილიონი წლის წინანდელი) დინოზავრების ნაკვალევიდან, დამთავრებული კარსტული მღვიმეებით, ხაზს უსვამს საქართველოს ისტორიისა და ბუნების მრავალფეროვნებას. მისი სიდიადე მუდმივად დიდ აღტაცებას იწვევს მნახველებში და თავისი მნიშვნელობით მსოფლიოში მოწინავე პოზიციებიც უკავია. დღესდღეობით, სათაფლიაში მოწყობილია ორი ტურისტული ბილიკი, მუზეუმი, საგამოფენო დარბაზები, შუშის პანორამული გადასახედი, საიდანაც იმერეთის რეგიონის ულამაზესი ხედი იშლება.
სათაფლიიდან შესაძლებელია უკან იგივი ბილიკით ჩამოსვლა ან მანქანის დაქირავება ან დახვედრება და ისე დაბრუნება ქუთაისში.
შენიშვნა: რელიეფიდან და გრუნტიდან გამომდინარე გასთვალისწინებელია რომ წვიმიან ამინდში იქნება ტალახი.

From Kutaisi
The route connects Kutaisi with Sataplia and the village Gumati. The route is an easy category, does not require a lot of physical effort. At first, it will pass through Kutaisi streets and will enter the old forest dirt road and follows this road in the forest. After passing 4.2 km, we will find ourselves in a meadow from where we can continue the route to Sataplia or to the village Gumati.
With its monuments of historical and cultural importance, Sataplia promises an extraordinary sight to every visitor. Sataplia, starting from prehistoric dinosaur footprints (120 million years ago) and ending with karst caves, highlights the diversity of Georgia's history and nature. Its greatness constantly inspires great admiration among the visitors, and it occupies the leading positions in the world in terms of its importance. Today, Sataplia has two tourist trails, a museum, exhibition halls, a glass panoramic view from which a beautiful view of the Imereti region can be seen.
From Sataplia it is possible to come back by the same path or by taxi or pick up.
