Itinerary description
Kurnell is the landing place of Captain Cook it is quite interesting from a historical perspective. There are parks and beaches which are quite good for chilling out (if you don't mind the site of the port and industrial facilities in the distance). Also there are places where you can watch the whales. In July the whales migrate north and in the November whales migrate south.
However Botany Bay NP at Kurnel is not ideal for walking because many of the tracks have closed. Although there are spectacular ocean views at many spots.
If you decide to do the walk you should not take the Sir Joseph Banks Road because it is too industrialised and it stinks. It would be better to track back trough the park.
