Today we have to start on a road with a lot of traffic, from Hongu to Ukegawa, it is about 3 km that we can avoid taking a bus, number 2, and that is what I did. It is not worth going on the road.
As we will not find any water or food on the route, when I get off the bus I buy what I need, there are several places.
The road begins at the northern end of the town and immediately we begin with a climb that gets along quite well, we continue through the forest, the trees are pines, cedars, ... when we reach the highest point today we have a small viewpoint from where you can see how are the mountains.
The way of presenting the information about the route is changed, now the engraved wooden posts are also engraved stone markers, here the distance they are making is explained, each post is approximately 500 meters from each other.
Today I also carry a small backpack with the necessary things for a one-day route, the backpack is sent to me at the hostel today.
Today we have been climbing almost the entire route, which means that it has not had slopes as pronounced as those of the first day, when there are 3 km to go we begin the quite steep descent, at the end of it we find a soda machine, such as I was quite thirsty, we used it, and only one kilometer to the accommodation.
We continue along the road, we pass a tunnel and I see the accommodation, here I can enjoy my first bath in an onsen, the backpack that I send is already here, after the bath I walk around the environment.
Due to gps failure, the distance of the walking route was 13.5 and the time was 6h.
Accommodation: Koguchi Shizen-no-le, highly recommended.
The next stage.- 4th

Buenas noches.
