A very popular route for Slovenians, arrive early, especially if you have a large vehicle because the parking lot is small and you have to park on the side of the road. We did it on August 14 and the route is very pleasant because you go almost all the time in the shade. We started walking at 14°C and at the lake (around 11-12pm we were still at 16°C). Arriving at the car was another story...
The path goes up zigzagging until you gain all the height and all that remains is to glide. On the way we went straight to the lake but on the way back we went through the shelter. We didn't stop there because with 5 dogs it was complicated, but there were people eating things that looked really good!
