Itinerary description
One of the most known gorges in this region. Especially the first part is extraordinary beautiful. The rocks are very colourful and at some place the gorge is only 1,5 meter wide. At a few places, a little bit of easy scrambling is necessary. Normally you will find the following three options to walk in this gorge which has two exit possibilities along the way :
1) Walk the complete gorge from Kritsa to Tapes and return along another way to the north of the gorge with the option to visit the Doric ruins at Lato.
2) Walk to the second exit and return along another way to the north of the gorge (see : http://nl.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/view.do?id=594825).
3) Leave the gorge after the first exit and return along another way to the north of the gorge.
