Itinerary description
This is a nice route for a halfday tour.
We went up with the gondel towards Kristberg (Silbertalbahn, check timetable for Mittagspause). Then we started for a mostly downhill walk. First part along a gravel road (slightly up), but then we went down through the woods and along Alpe Oberbuchen (open for drinks and a farmers lunch) and then to Buchen. After some searching we found the local Geocache. Then along the Alter Buchenweg back towards Silbertal. At an open spot, we could harvest some lovely ripe raspberries!
