A great walk except for the section up to the castle. The route is impassable (unless you are a mountain goat). Too many walls with stock fencing. We found an alternative route up but it was challenging. The track down was fine. Views worth it. Poles useful for the castle section.
Loving the hike…… Only thing worth noting for future hikers is that there’s no gate or through way to gain access to fortress to continue along route…… (that we could see) so had to wing it!
