Itinerary description
|
Starting point: office of the tourist office in Kranjska Gora. During this easy walk you will explore the most important places between Kranjska Gora and the village of Ratece. We pass Hotel Kotnik, the sports hall and cultural center "Dvorana Vitranc". Then follow the direction "Podkoren", cross the main road of Kransjka and then cross the Sava River. We follow a hiking trail through alpine meadows and forests to reach the lovely village of Podkoren. On the way to the Zelenci lake we have a beautiful view of the Planica valley. The nature reserve of Zelenci with its emerald green pool is very beautiful. Also take a look at the wooden watchtower. Then we return to Kranjska Gora.
