Itinerary description
A nice easy trail, can be done in 2.5 hrs if you just want to Hike, but it was spring and we took plenty of photos,and stopped for lunch in the abandoned village.
Parked in Kouklia village, nice place to chill and have some food and coffee when you finish.
The entrance to the abandoned village (photo 2) is by someone's home and they have a lot of dogs, geese, goats, horses and an Emu. most of the dogs are tied up, a few hounds roming about. They weren't aggressive, just barked a lot, so we found a different path at the side of the bridge to the village entrance without walking past all the dogs, and we found a way around the village to carry on with the trail without going back to the dogs to start them barking again. A good adventure, with some excellent views.
