Ring excursion on the Korada starting from Senik and passing through Zarščina.
From the start of the Korada forest trail, drive 150 meters in the direction of Vrhovlje pri Kozbani and then take the trail that climbs up to the forest road again through a beautiful meadow. Continue on a white background to Zarščina which offers a fabulous view of the pre-Alps and the Julian Alps. From here you climb up the asphalt to the junction for Korada and shortly after you take the path that, passing through the church of Sveta Gemderca and the summit of the Korada, arrives at the shelter. You go down first along the path to the south until you meet the white road to Senik and then return to the starting point.
From the Korada the view is beautiful and the refuge, just a few steps away, is open all year round on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (in addition to Slovenian festive days).
