Itinerary description

The hike begins at the trail starting point of Kisseos street. We firstly navigate through rocky terrain and short to medium vegetation with a bit steeper incline. We will ascend from the right side of the fork-like trails formation (see map). As we move upward, the scenery changes to richer forests with tall trees and bushes. We cross the location "Tria Aderfia", (a fieldy flat area also accessible from dirt road) and head towards the trail path. At the intersection we head right towards "Kolosourtes" until we cross the dirt road again, then, we follow the small and a bit steep path to the right that will lead us to the peak from the north. Be a little careful and enjoy.
Following, we move across the ridge until we reach the entrance of the barracks, then around it towards the Mountain Hut of SEO Mountaineer Club. There, we can take some rest before we continue towards "Kria Vrisi" location, in the heart of the forest. We keep descending from the major trail of the mountain with a beautiful evergreen scenery and after a while, we reach a fresh water fountain. This is the last part of our route, which will lead us to the starting point, completing a 10km route around the north-west side of Chortiátis mountain.
