Itinerary description
Really nice hike! You will feel the altitude a bit and it got a bit of ascent. Lake is super beautiful and the water is ice cold. The area is a few degrees colder than Bishkek but still quite warm (in July that is). For the way back down hiking poles are recommended because the loose rocks can get quite slippery. We saw horses, cows, marmots, squirrels and lots of butterflies. We drove to the starting point with a sedan car but it is not easy.
