Itinerary description
Plenty of snow to trail through, kept loosing one team member after the other ((
Upon reaching Kaskabas mountain, the last attendee who was standing next to me decided to give up as well. Shame though, as we were just a mile away from the peak. Nonetheless, make sure you have couple of people, preferably males to trail through the deep snow.
Now looking back, treat it as chilling rather than a proper hike.
With regards to the trail itself. The gorge is quite narrow, making it highly dangerous during the avalanche seasons. So checked the avalanche report first and then climbed up the slopes to ensure the ice is compact and stable. Leveraging early morning time sneaked thought the gorge along the trail without any issues, guess would have thought twice if bathe sun was up.
Once on the ridge, just proceed across woods along it towards Kaskabas. Relatively quite strait forward.
