Itinerary description
The route starts near Azeula Fortress. First half of the trail rout goes downhill through the forest.
After about 1 km path connects to dirt road (after rains it’ll be slippery). Then, surrounded by beautiful nature, you will find on route ruined small village with church.
Next point will be small waterfall, where you can snack and be pleased by sounds of falling water (do not litter).
Right after we came back on path, the next sight on rout will be Kabeni Monastery, which is dated back to 13 c.
After monastery we cross the small river and goes uphill. When you exit forest zone on route you will find breathtaking views of the valley. Final point is Kiketi town.
Take bus 316, it goes in Tbilisi
P.S. During the hike we met a bunch of dogs, they were friendly and funny. In case you fear dogs.
