Itinerary description
Day 1 of the round way 2-day hike starting from the mountain hut Koca na planini Kuhinja, going up to the Krn and down again to Krn lake and the mountain hut Planinski dom pri Krnskih jezeri. Staying there for the night and continuing onward the next day to return on a somewhat different path to the starting point. Many very interesting, yet oppressive remains of WWI throughout the whole path - artillery shells, parts of shovels, barbed wire, cans, caves cut into the mountain flanks, buildings, etc.
