We went with a local guide and with the intention of going to the top, but the weather made us turn around. Although the road can be intuited, there are no signposts and it is difficult to reach the starting point in the village of Rangala. You have to get a permit in Kandy to enter the park (750 breaks).
As I say, the weather did not go along, but the area is spectacular, passing through tea plantations and getting in touch with the local population.
Eye, bring good repellent for leeches!
