Knoutberry Haw and Baugh Fell-Tarn Rigg Hill near Sedbergh — Yorkshire Dales National Park
An easy outing to take in Knoutberry Haw (676 m) and Baugh Fell-Tarn Rigg Hill (678 m) near the quaint little town of Sedbergh on the south-west side of the Dales. A nice 12km, 580m height gain day, straight up on to a broad ridge to take in the two tops and then back down. All the while surrounded by gorgeous countryside, with super nice views across to the Howgill Fells.
Parking: A large free car park with great views at the start point.
Route Description: A bit of road, good paths in the main, but a bit boggy in places. Good scenic views all around. Long flat plateau between Knoutberry Haw and Tarn Rigg on the top.
Route Statistics: 12.5 kilometres with 500 metres of height gain done in 3 hours and 20 minutes.
