Itinerary description
This is a hike from the lighthouse on Clare Island to the highest point on the island, following the fence line to the summit. There are several ups and downs along the way (about 2,000' elev. gain/loss). From the summit, we headed for two water tanks in the general direction of the harbor, and from there followed roads back to the harbor.
