Itinerary description
Knickerbocker Creek Trail
This trail is one of the many interior trails of the Olmstead area in Auburn State Recreation Area. It travels through low, rolling terrain with open fields and wooded areas. It can be done either way, but one end is located at the parking lot for the Olmstead Loop Trail, and the other end terminates at the Cave Valley Trail.
The route parallels the paved Florian Court Road for most of its length. There are no long climbs, and it is mostly double or singletrack. Some of the singletrack sections near the creek are rocky and winding. There are also a couple simple stream crossings.
