Itinerary description
Start at main square of Kissos. First section is walk through narrow surfaced road through village. Then on a track down to the river where the track crosses a very pleasant area of cataracts. Go back a little and turn up marked path to the left (on the way up). A few steps up from the track. Next section up to second cataract is very pretty through forest with views. At the end you can take your shoes and socks off and walk along a vertiginous channel for a few metres and then through a low tunnel. We didn’t on this occasion…it’s still very much worth it. But you do get a spectacular different view of the cataract if you do it!
We came back by following the water channel. It’s spectacular because of hanging on to the edge of the cliff but in some places it was dangerous..too low to stand and nothing except the channel itself. Therefore not really recommended.
The rating on the way there is “easy”! So best to go back the same way.

A el regreso por el canal es muy dificultoso y arriesgado por estar derrumbada parte de la estructura
