Itinerary description
Most adventurous hike we had I think. First, a short hike on rocks by the Black sea coast with unexpected waves hitting us due to a strong wind. Then a bit of climbing, a swim break in Belgrad forest baraji and finally we got hit by short but heavy rain. We had 4 dogs with us, one big dog got stuck on the rocks and refused to continue, so we had to return and help it to get out but to no avail, at least with the help of one of the other dogs (who joined it) we forced him out of the rocks and made him leave back to the village. We lost the third dog somewhere in Belgrad forest, probably he was drawn to the food of campers. The last small one finished with us in Kemeberburgaz and was rewarded by salami but for some reason refused to eat (what’s going on with the European side dogs? are they all vegans now?). Was out of water relatively quickly even despite not so hot weather, these summer days I need at least 3L if I’m not eating although this hike I ate because of the swimming. Belgrad forest was super noisy because of cicadas who shut up only after the rain and full of weird huge black mushrooms on the ground that not attached to anything.
