Itinerary description

Kish Village is located on the banks of the Kish river, in the foothills. It is one of the ancient settlements. Albanian historian Movses Kalankatli's work "History of Albania" mentions his name as Kis. According to his writing, Yenisei, one of the first Christian missionaries, approx. In 74, he came to the village of Kis, Uti province and built a church. It was the first Christian temple in the entire South Caucasus. The church was built on the site of an ancient place of worship that previously existed here. Kish means "cult, place of worship" in Persian.

Gaynar waterfall is located in the territory of the village of Gahnar. Gaynar village is an old abandoned village in Sheki city of Azerbaijan. This village is located next to a river bed in the mountainous area of the Greater Caucasus. At a height of 90 meters, there is a large waterfall consisting of two parts. One of them is called "Gaynar waterfall" according to the name of the village. The village is actually located close to the city of Sheki, but the lack of a modern road makes it difficult to reach the village. It takes 2-3 hours to reach the village on foot.
