Itinerary description
Moderate walk through Kirstenbosch Forest using the Stinkwood Trail, Contour Path and Silver Tree Trail.
Some steep parts.
The Kirstenbosch forests have been protected since the Garden was established in 1913, i.e. 100 years old in places. In the 1960s alien species were eradicated and the forests left to regenerate and recover naturally.
