Ascension to the Kriigalpotha or Kirigalpotta peak (I have seen it written in different ways), the second highest peak in Sri Lanka, in a linear route starting from the main access to the "Horton's Plains" along a fairly comfortable path, which only at the The end offers some slope along the final rope of the mountain, which barely stands out above the horizon of seedlings at almost the same height as the peak.
We did it after doing the well-known circular route of the "Plains". Bring water as there is no fountain along the way. We didn't meet almost anyone.
