Today's stage leaves the dirt tracks and we climb mountain trails. The vegetation is already very scarce. We can't find anyone. This route is really lonely. Today we will climb to a pass that is 4,200 meters, and after a steep descent through difficult terrain, we will go down to Lake Michaelson where we will sleep. Before we will fill water bottles in a waterfall stuck to the rock. On the way we came across a buffalo, they are very common here, but I didn't feel like partying and it turned tail. Better. We take the opportunity to wash in the lake. Today is a key day for acclimatization to altitude, this is the main difficulty of the route. I'm starting to have mountain sickness, we'll see how the attack on the summit goes tomorrow. We will need to be hydrated constantly, as we do every day, not only when we walk but also the rest of the day at camp. I may not have drunk enough. I rate the difficulty as moderate in height.
