Itinerary description

This is a gorgeous day hike! If you happen to be staying at The Ridge in So. Shore Tahoe, the trail can be picked up from the upper tennis court. Otherwise, you can park at the Stagecoach base camp for Heavenly Valley and the trailhead is right there. Within 45 minutes, you will see some absolutely amazing views of the lake. The trail is great, there are plenty of areas that will find you working hard to catch your breath, but only for short segments at a time. The only problem with this part of the TRT is that you want to keep going to see more and more and more of the amazing views, and if you don't exercise restraint your hike will become much longer than you may have planned.
