Itinerary description
It traces the former transportation routes of the local timber industry from the in
the late 19th century. The much prized hard woods of Jarrah, Marri and Blackbutt are abundant in the area, and highlight of this walk is the impressive 250 year old “King Jarrah” tree.
WARNING: Be aware of vehicles and bikes as the trail shares sections of the Munda Biddi Trail and 4WD tracks.

Dawn Creek Rd
Cross the Dawn Creek Rd and continue STRAIGHT. More 5.2km back to Nanga Mill with some steeper sections.

Turn RIGHT
RIGHT = to King Jarrah Tree STRAIGHT = 200m to Bidjar Ngoulin Campsite (small cleared area and toilet)
River Access
LEFT = River access
Sign & Gate
Cross the gate and follow the gravel road for 350m. You'll find a sign pointing that the trail goes to the left.
Divert to Fawcett Track
The Captain Fawcett Commemorative 4x4 Track showcases jarrah forests, historic farmhouses, original trestle bridges and magnificent views. Starting at Dawn Creek Road (nearby) and finishing 105 kilometres later at the Quindanning Pub.
Trail head
The trail starts at Nanga Mill campground. The sign marks the trail head and can be located on the southern side of the road that passes through the campground (and will join the North Junction Rd)
